Tasmania

Ahhhh the Apple isle…. we absolutely loved our time in Tasmania. With the national parks to explore and the stunning coastline, and picturesque towns and cities dotted around. We can see why there’s been a shift with mainlanders wanting to move over.

National Parks and reserves make up around 40% of the state, so you’re never far away from one to get out there and start exploring. The western half of Tasmaina makes up the majority of the National Parks. Rich with unique ecosystems and habitats, and filled with animals and plants like nowhere else on earth. The eastern part of the state is more populated but you still feel like you’re a million miles away from everyone else, life in tassie is definitely more relaxed.

We will list all the places we visited in our 12 week trip to Tasmania in following blogs
