South Australia

Once we crossed the Nullarbor for the first time, neither of us were sure what to expect of South Australia. Yeah we’d been to Adelaide a couple of times to visit friends but that was as far as we’d gotten.

All we can say is wow, the scenery we’d seen in Western Australia was carrying through to South Australia.

To date we’ve not covered as much as SA as we’d like but what we have seen we have loved. The Eyre and York Peninsula, both have that rugged country coastal feel. The Adelaide hills are famous for their wine and scenery. The Fleurieu Peninsula was a firm favourite with its rolling coastal hills and sleepy beachside towns. Then the low lying coastal road all the way through to the border with sporadic coastal towns offering their unique country charm.

We can’t wait to eventually get back and explore more of what South Australia has to offer
