We are a couple in our late 30s travelling around Australia with our dog Tilly. Originating from Manchester in the north of England, we emigrated to Perth in our mid 20s to start a new life in Australia.
Before the big move to the other side of the world we backpacked our way around Australia. We had a 15 year old vn Holden commodore and a tent, so we really roughed it lol. We have always loved to travel and see the world and Australia is definitely on the list of top countries to visit.
Travelling broadens the mind. We love to experience new cultures and sample local life. We are now citizens of this great country, so we now want to get out there and explore our own backyard. With such a vast lands spanning thousands of kilometres from east to west. With tropical climate in the north and snow fields in the south. Australia is one diverse country to call home.
We have decided to set up this blog to hopefully inspire others, who’ve always wanted to travel and see Australia or even the world. Just get out there and do it, you don’t know what tomorrow holds.
There is so many options out there to make it happen. From a bike and a swag, to a 25ft caravan and 4WD. Plus you don’t have to take an extended period of time out to do it. It may be a weekend here or a fortnight there. There is so much to see in our backyard before even getting a plane and heading overseas.
